Title: friction and force 2


My research question
If in place of cork as surface we use plastic then what would happen?

Hypothesis: If I increase the weight then I will have to apply more force to pull because there will be more friction.

Material: You will be given three different surfaces, mass and a Newtonmeter.

Procedure:
1. different surfaces
2. Mass
3. Newtonmeter
4. container
5. put the mass in the container.
6. Pull the container with the help of the Newtonmeter.
7. measure the force.



Conclusion :-
The weight in the container ?

If the weight is extra then more force will be required because more weight equals more force.

When the container was pulled the weight in it was very light so it required minimum force to pull. On increasing the weight the container got heavier and required more force to pull.
